ANNOUNCING something NEW for NEDA!
The 2012 Year End Awards will be Celebrated and given out at an evening event on Saturday May 11, 2013 in Marshfield at the NEDA Spring Show after the last rider of the day. This is a new concept for NEDA in HOPES that MORE award WINNERS will attend. Due to continued low attendance of award winners at the Fall Weekend this new concept is being introduced.. This will be an evening of great food, drink, fun and music! Everyone at the Spring Show is welcome!

IMPORTANT RULES FOR 2012!

NEDA MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED BY AUGUST 15, 2012

In order to submit scores for 2012 NEDA Year End Awards, owner and rider of the horse must be NEDA members by August 15, 2012.

A NEDA BUSINESS MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED IF YOUR HORSE IS OWNED BY A BUSINESS

If the owner of your horse is a business, that business must have a Business membership with NEDA by August 15, 2012 in order for scores to be submitted and counted for that horse.

Eligible scores must be earned during the competition year October 4, 2011 through October 2, 2012

Submitted scores must be RECEIVED by October 15, 2012 or earlier - NO EXCEPTIONS!

Scores must be received in hand by October 15, 2012 or earlier. There will be no exceptions made. Emails ARE accepted.
Phone or Fax transmissions are NOT accepted. Please plan ahead and send your scores in on time!

IMPORTANT NEW RULES FOR 2010!

NO EQUIVALENCIES FOR THE LEVELS

NEDA Year End Awards will follow the “no equivalencies” rule that the USDF has adopted for their Regional Championships. This means that the only tests that will be accepted for results will be the same as the levels that are awarded.

The Levels for 2010 are as follows: Training, First, Second Third, Fourth, Prix St Georges, Intermediate I, Intermediate II, Grand Prix, FEI Jr, FEI YR, 4, 5, and 6 Year Olds, USDF Musical Freestyles, and FEI Musical Freestyles. The FEI Jr Freestyle will be included in the USDF Musical Freestyles, and the FEI Young Rider Freestyle will be include in the FEI Musical Freestyles. For the FEI Jr and FEI YR levels, 3 scores must be submitted, with at least one being the Team test and one being the Individual Test.

GRAND PRIX LEVEL CHANGE

One of the three Grand Prix rides can be a Grand Prix Special.

FREESTYLE CATEGORIES

For the Freestyle awards, if there are 3 entries in one category (Open, AA, or Jr/YR), they will be split out, as long as there are at least 3 entries remaining.

FEI FREESTYLE TESTS

USEF Musical Freestyle (First-Fourth combined, including FEI Jr Freestyle) & FEI Musical Freestyle (Young Rider, Intermediate 1, and Grand Prix combined)

AMATEUR HANDLER CATEGORY NOW ELIGIBLE FOR BREEDING DIVISION YEAR END AWARDS

YEAR END AWARDS FOR DRESSAGE

Submitted scores must be RECEIVED by October 15, 2012 or earlier - NO EXCEPTIONS!
Owner and Rider MUST become NEDA members by August 15, 2012 to be eligible.

NEDA offers great year-end ribbons & awards for competitors.
Scores are earned during the competition year starting in October 4, 2011 through October 2, 2012
from USEF/USDF recognized dressage shows in any zone.

Awards are given for three separate categories:

Open, Adult Amateurs and Junior/Young Rider Categories for all Levels,Training through Grand Prix

Freestyle Awards, USDF (Training - Fourth combined) & FEI (Intermediare I & Grand Prix combined)

YEAR END AWARDS FOR SPORT HORSE BREEDING DIVISIONS

Submitted scores must be RECEIVED by October 15, 2012 or earlier - NO EXCEPTIONS!
Owner and Rider MUST become NEDA members by August 15, 2012 to be eligible.

NEDA offers great year-end ribbons & awards for competitors who are showing in the sport horse breed divisions
Scores are earned during the competition year starting in October 4, 2011 through October 2, 2012 from USEF/USDF recognized dressage sport horse breeding show in any Zone

Awards are given for separate age groups:
Foals of current year~ Yearlings ~ Two Year Olds ~ Three Year Olds
Mature Mares (Four Years or Older) ~ Mature Stallions (four years or Older)
Awards will be separated by sex for each age group if there are more than 3 entries for each sex.
Materiale Awards (3 year olds and 4/5 year olds) - to be divided by age if submissions warrant.

Sorry - Championship IBC, Breeders Group, Get of Sire & Sport Pony classes are not eligible
